Rob Steele is an abstract artist. I primarily apply acrylic paint and other media to canvas by unconventional methods. My intent is to inspire freedom for your eyes as they deftly meander from splotch to drip to streak. Let your visual senses open your mind to pure ecstasy unbound and flooding from predictable shapes and formatted colors.

In Star Flower, an audacity of orange tinged with red appears on a
diagonal path on a soothing sky blue background. Background is a
misnomer here of course, because the dynamism and translucence of the
symphony of blue is interactive with other elements of the painting. In
addition, the blue elements are compatible with refreshing, clear water
immersing all of the images seen. Interestingly, as if to signal a
change in mood, the blue atmospherics brighten as one moves with the
orange object toward the lower left section of the painting.
